To our fans

To our fans:
&amp;nbsp;
Hey everyone.&amp;nbsp; Very excited to get started.&amp;nbsp; Last season was a bit disappointing as we felt we were capable of more, but we've moved on.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; We've got a good group together, and the new faces have complimented the old faces very well.&amp;nbsp; I think we have a team that is capable of competing for a championship.&amp;nbsp; Having said that, we know there's a lot of work that needs to be done to get ourselves to that point.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Our first game was evidence of that.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Sometimes you have to find a way to win, and we did just that.

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving, and a safe one too.
&amp;nbsp;
See you in December.

You Know Who You Are
</title>

		<description>
30 Years...

Proud, passionate, believers, warm, smart, quick witted, nasty, heart on their sleeve, ditchdiggers, grab hold and don't let go, blue collar, you want some/come get some types, leave it on the floor, friendly, neighborhoods, community, family, the Colts #19, the Ravens, the Blast... the people of Baltimore.

This is to, well, you know who you are. It was the Baltimore Civic Center, that used to be packed to the rafters, that I am constantly reminded of. And now it's 1st Mariner Arena. Great players have come and gone, as well as a great owner or two and some quality coaches, for sure. But the one constant has been the fans here in Baltimore, who have not only supported us, and played a major role in helping us win championships, but have helped set a standard of excellence all their own. Five years running the Blast (the fans) have led the league in attendance. Five years. The fans here in Baltimore might talk the talk sometimes, but they surely walk the walk. The numbers don't lie.

To our Blast fans, and to the city of Baltimore,

Thank You.

Danny Kelly
Baltimore Blast Head Coach

Early season thoughts
</title>
		<link>http://www.baltimoreblast.com/fanzone/teamblog/?entry_id=9</link>
		<description>
Hey everyone,
&amp;nbsp;
We are very excited about the season and getting back in front of our great fans.&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
The squad has seen a few changes since last season but our goal remains the same... to put ourselves in position to compete for, and win a championship.&amp;nbsp; We cannot stop to smell the roses,&amp;nbsp; as there is no time.&amp;nbsp; All the other teams have bolstered their rosters with quality players to try and knock us off, and therein is the challenge.&amp;nbsp;

Are we up to the task of defending our title?&amp;nbsp; Can we handle what these teams are going to throw at us every game, trying to prove that they have what it takes to take our title away from us?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; That remains to be seen, but we have done it before.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;

We know it's a difficult task at hand, and we suffered a tough loss opening night against a good Rockford team. But we will be ready when Philadelphia comes to town, and hopefully get a good result in front of another great crowd at 1st Mariner Arena.
