Machel Millwood and Pat Healey led the way as the Blast defeated the Rochester Lancers, 17-11, to improve to 5-0 on the season.
The Blast took an early lead with first quarter goals by Ptah Myers and Millwood but the Lancers answered with three straight goals to close out the first quarter with a 6-4 lead.
Adriano Dos Santos opened the second quarter with a goal to tie it at 6-6 and J.T. Noone gave the Blast an 8-4 lead before Jeremy Ortiz scored his first of the night for the Lancers to once again tie the game, this time at 8-8.
Baltimore controlled the second half, starting with Tony Donatelli and Max Ferdinand providing goals in the third quarter and Mike Lookingland and Healey adding goals in the final quarter of play. The Lancers pulled within a point on Ortiz’s three-point goal in the fourth quarter but the Blast's offense put the game away.
