The Baltimore Blast closed out the 2009-10 MISL regular season with a 19-12 loss to the Philadelphia KiXX Sunday afternoon.  The Blast will face La RaZa Friday night in Monterrey in Game One of the MISL Semifinals.  Game Two will be Monday the 29th in Baltimore.

The KiXX scored the first goal of the game, midway through the opening quarter, and continued to dominate the first half, scoring seven goals and jumping out to a 14-4 lead.  Pat Healey tied the game at 2-2 but the KiXX scored the next three goals and had an 8-2 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter was more of the same, with the KiXX scoring three goals and Pat Healey being the lone Blast goalscorer.

The Blast scored four unanswered goals in the third quarter to cut the KiXX lead to 14-12 heading into the final quarter of play.  Rookie Max Ferdinand scored two goals in the quarter, including a power play goal, and Lucio Gonzaga and MIke Lookingland added goals to cap off the four-goal run.

Pat Morris ended the Blast's run with a goal at 3:07 of the fourth quarter to put the KiXX on top, 16-12, and Ptah Myers scored a last-minute three-point goal against Baltimore's sixth attacker to hand the Blast the 19-12 loss.
