Setting the Tone:

 

Baltimore Blast: Finished the regular season 15-4 and are the number 1 seed in the Eastern Division. Defeated the Syracuse Silver Knights in Eastern Division Final.

 

Missouri Comets: Finished the regular season 17-3 as the number 1 seed in the Central Division. Defeated the Milwaukee Wave in the Central Division Final.  

 

Regular Season Matchups: The Blast are 0-3 against the Comets this season.

Baltimore Post Season Leaders:

Pat Healey, who was recently named MASL Defender of the Year, leads the best defense in the league which has allowed only 8 goals so far this postseason. Healey also leads the Blast on offense with 3 goals and 3 assists in the Division Final. Tony Donatelli, who was named Honorable Mention All MASL, and forward Jinho Kim have both recorded 2 goals each this postseason.

 

William Vanzela, who was recently named second team all MASL, leads all goalies in postseason GAA (3.42) and save percentage (.784) just like he did throughout the regular season.

The Competition- Missouri Comets:

The Comets offense enters averaging 9 goals a game so far this post season. The Blast defense will look to shut down Leo Gibson and Max Touloute who both recorded 5 goals in the Division Final. Goalkeeper Boris Pardo enters with a postseason GAA of 3.50 and which is second to the Blast’s Vanzela.  The Comets are coached by Vlatko Andonovski.
