Blast Season Ends with 10-8 OT Loss to La RaZa

03/29/2010 10:49 AM - The Monterrey La RaZa defeated the Baltimore Blast, 10-8 in overtime, in Game Two of the 2010 MISL Semifinals Monday night to advance to play the Milwaukee Wave in Sunday's Championship Game. Victor Quiroz scored the game-winning goal in the sixth minute of overtime after the Blast battled back from an 8-4 deficit to force the extra play. The teams played Game One Friday night in Monterrey and La RaZa earned a 22-14 victory.

Blast Beat Rampage, Clinch Playoff Berth

03/12/2010 9:16 PM - The Baltimore Blast defeated the Rockford Rampage, 11-8, Friday night at 1st Mariner Arena to clinch a spot in the 2010 postseason.  The Blast improved to 11-7 with their sixth straight win, will finish no lower than second in the MISL and host the Philadelphia KiXX Saturday night in the team's last home game of the regular season. 

Blast Beats KiXX, 23-14, Sunday

02/28/2010 2:46 PM - Eight different players scored on Sunday as the Baltimore Blast defeated the Philadelphia KiXX, 23-14, at Liacouras Center on Temple University.  The third-place Baltimore Blast, led by Machel Millwood's hat trick, improved to 8-7 on the season and have won their last three games.  The Blast and KiXX will meet again on Friday night at 1st Mariner Arena.

La RaZa Earns 25-10 Victory over the Blast

02/13/2010 2:14 PM - In a game of defensive errors, missed opportunities and red cards, the first-place Monterrey La RaZa defeated the Baltimore Blast, 25-10, Sunday afternoon at Monterrey Arena.  Shaun David led La RaZa with four goals while Robbie Aristodemo led the Blast with two goals; Angel Hernandez and Sagu were ejected from the match in the fourth quarter.  The Blast (5-7) and La RaZa (9-5) will see each other again, this Friday night at 7:35 p.m. at 1st Mariner Arena. 

Wave Beat Blast, 10-6, Saturday Night

The Milwaukee Wave defeated the Baltimore Blast, 10-6, Saturday night at 1st Mariner Arena.  The Blast fall to 5-6 on the season while the Wave improve to 7-6.   The Blast will return to 1st Mariner Arena on February 12 to host the Philadelphia KiXX.  Lucio Gonzaga, Machel Millwood and Giuliano Celenza scored for the Blast while Giuliano Oliviero led the Wave with two goals.


Wave Earns 13-10 victory over the Blast

The Milwaukee Wave defeated the Baltimore Blast, 13-10, Saturday night at the U.S. Cellular Arena, bringing the Blast winless streak to three straight games.  The win moves the Wave into a tie with the Rockford Rampage for first place in the MISL and the Blast (5-5) fall into third place, a half game behind the Rampage and Wave.  The Blast and Wave will face each other again on January 30th at 1st Mariner Arena.
