Max Ferdinand, Baltimore Blast

Blast forward Max Ferdinand recorded eight points Sunday to lead the Blast to a 17-6 win over the Comets and the 2010-11 MISL regular season title.  Ferdinand scored two goals in a four minute span of the second quarter to increase Baltimore’s lead to 9-2 and then 11-2.  He also recorded three assists in the match, to Adauto Neto, Machel Millwood and Pat Healey.  Ferdinand, the 2010 MISL Rookie of the Year, ranks second on the Blast and with 43 points.  With the win, the Blast won the 2010-11 regular season title and will host the 2011 MISL Championship Game on March 25.

About the Major Indoor Soccer League
The MISL represents the Major League of professional indoor soccer in the United States and features the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league currently has five member clubs for the 2010-11 season: the Baltimore Blast, Chicago Riot, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets and the Omaha Vipers.  The 2010-11 regular season began on November 12 and ended on March 13.  The postseason will begin March 18 and will conclude with the 2011 MISL Championship Game on March 25 at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore.  For more information about the MISL, visit the League’s official website
