PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hewerton Moreira, Philadelphia KiXX

Hewerton Moreira recorded eight points in the KiXX 34-11 win over the Massachusetts Twisters Saturday night at the Wachovia Spectrum.  Hewerton scored a three-point goal and two two-point goals for the hat trick and added an assist.  Two of his goals were scored while the KiXX had a man advantage, including the game winner.  The former Detroit Ignition standout signed with the KiXX as a free agent during the offseason.  The 34 points scored by Philadelphia was a franchise high.

Other nominees for NISL Player of the Week included Pat Morris and Anthony Maher, who each also recorded eight points in the KiXX victory, and Baltimore’s Denison Cabral, who recorded a hat trick for Baltimore on Saturday night.
