NISL Player of the Week - December 8, 2008

Anthony Maher, Philadelphia KiXX

Anthony Maher, an eight-year veteran of professional indoor soccer, led all players with eight points in Philadelphia’s 18-7 win over the Massachusetts Twisters on Saturday night.  Maher recorded three two-point goals, including the game-winner, and a pair of assists.  With the three-goal performance, Maher has recorded a hat trick in each of his first two games in a KiXX uniform and leads all NISL scorers with 17 points (six two-point goals and five assists).  The Cape May, NJ native began his career in Cleveland, but spent the last two seasons with the Milwaukee Wave before signing with Philadelphia as a free agent for the 2008-09 campaign.
