Robbie Aristodemo, Baltimore Blast
Robbie Aristodemo, a seven-year veteran of professional indoor soccer, recorded eight points Friday night in Baltimore’s 27-2 win over the visiting Massachusetts Twisters. Aristodemo scored a short-handed three-point goal early in the second half to put the Blast on top 17-0 and added five assists in the match to lead the Blast to their third win of the season. With 10 points in three games (one three-point goal and seven assists), Aristodemo is tied to lead the Blast and tied to rank fifth in the NISL in points this season. He also leads the League in assists and is the only player who has scored a short-handed goal so far this season. Aristodemo is in his fourth season with the Baltimore Blast and played in the 200th game of his career Friday night.
About the National Indoor Soccer League
The National Indoor Soccer League was launched in September of 2008 and consists of five founding members; the Baltimore Blast, La RaZa de Monterrey, Philadelphia KiXX, Rockford Rampage and the Massachusetts Twisters.  The NISL has formed a working relationship with the United Soccer Leagues (USL) and will become a member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
The NISL kicked off its inaugural season on November 15th and will continue through March with the playoffs taking place the first two weeks of April.  This Baltimore Blast will host the Philadelphia KiXX this Saturday night in the only NISL game of the weekend.
