Baltimore Blast: Won previous game against Rochester Lancers 25-23. Baltimore enters as the number one seed in the Eastern Division (18-2).


Rochester Lancers: Defeated Syracuse in game one of Divisional Semifinal 20-7. Dropped game 2 in Syracuse but won mini game 3-2. Rochester enters with a 2-1 playoff record advancing from the Divisional Semifinal.

Firing on all cylinders:

The offense has been well rounded scoring 167 goals in 20 games this season. Tony Donatelli leads the team with 35 points. Lucas Roque leads the team with 25 goals scored while Pat Healey leads the team in assists with 22.  Baltimore is far from being one sided as the defense has played just as well as the offense.  Pat Healey leads the league with 53 blocks and Baltimore leads the league in average goals allowed per game (3.5). In net for the Blast, William Vanzela has recorded 4 shutouts this season with his most recent against Chicago. He leads the MASL in GAA (2.83) and save percentage (.815).


Team Depth:

In addition to the returning players, the Blast roster also includes eight newcomers. Offensively the Blast really show their team depth with 18 players who have recorded 2 or more points this season. During the regular season, the Blast have been able to average 8.4 goals per game.


The Competition- Rochester Lancers:

The Rochester Lancers enter at 12-10 after an impressive series win over Syracuse.  The Lancers offense is led by Mauricio Sales who has recorded 57 points this season off 41 goals and 16 assists. Defensively, Stephen Basso leads Rochester with 22 blocks while goalkeepers Joe Kapinos and Marcelo Moreira have split time in net this season. The Lancers are coached by Doug Miller.
