Baltimore Blast: 4-0 after defeating the Harrisburg Heat 9-2 last week.  First place in the Eastern Division.  
 
San Diego Sockers: 2-2, won previous game against the Ontario Fury 9-8. One and a half games back in the Pacific Division.

Defense Wins Championships:
This season the Blast defense has allowed only 7 goals while scoring 33 for the 2nd best goal differential in the MASL. William Vanzela leads the league GAA with a 1.75 average. 
 
2014-15 MASL Defender of the Year, First Team All MASL, and Team Captain Pat Healey anchors the defense which was one of the best in the league last season. Healey and others, like MASL All Rookie Team selection Onua Obasi, and veteran defender Adriano Dos Santos, look to continue the long tradition of stout Baltimore defense.
 
The Competition- San Diego Sockers: 
The Sockers are led offensively by Kraig Chiles who has recorded 4 goals and 4 assists so far this season. In goal, Chris Toth enters with a .646 save percentage and a 7.27 GAA.   The Sockers are coached by Phil Salvagio.
