Biography:
2007-08 Season Highlights:
Garcia underwent successful groin surgery in early August... He scored one goal in Monterrey (3/28/08) to pass the 100-point mark of his career... Garcia played in the 100th game of his career when the Blast hosted the Ironmen (2/16/08)... He recorded two goals and one assist against the Sharks (2/2/08) and against the Ignition (12/1/07)... He scored his first goal of the season, a power-play goal, in the 17-6 win over the Sharks (11/3/07).
 
Career Highlights:

2006-07 Season: Garcia ranked third on the Blast in points (42) and led the team in penalty minutes (27)...  He scored the first three-point goal of his career in Philadelphia (3/24)... He had 14 goals in 30 games and at least one goal in 12 games... Garcia recorded one two-point goal in the 50th game of his career (in Detroit, 11/4).

2005-06 Season: The Detroit Ignition selected Garcia in the 2005 MISL Expansion Draft and the Blast traded a Dispersal Draft pick in September to re-acquire him for the 2006-07 season... He led the Blast with two goals in the 7-6 win over the Steamers (3/31)... He had eight goals and six assists (14 points) in the last 14 games of the season... He scored the game-winning goal in the 6-5 overtime win over the Storm (2/17). 

2004-05 Season: Garcia had successful knee surgery (ACL and MCL) on November 23… He left the 11/12 Wave game with the injury and was  placed on the Injured List (out for the season)... Garcia recorded his first point of the season, an assist to Giuliano Celenza, in San Diego (10/9). 

2003-04 Season: Garcia scored a goal against the KiXX (3/5) and a goal against the Sockers the next night (3/6)... He recorded his first assist (12/6) against the Wave ... Garcia scored a goal on the first shift of his first professional indoor soccer game (11/14 vs. the Force). 

Outdoor:
He spent the 2004 and 2003 summer seasons with the A-League Virginia Beach Mariners... He recorded 19 points (five goals, nine assists) in 25 games in 2004 and was named A-League Player of the Week (8/10) after recording six points... He ranked second in the League with nine assists in 2004.

College:
Garcia was a First-Team All-South Atlantic Region selection his last season... He recorded nine goals and 11 assists his final year to lead the Tribe to the third round of the NCAA Tournament... He recorded 121 points throughout his William & Mary career and graduated in 2003.

Personal:
Garcia and his wife Laurin have a one-year-old daughter named Paz and live in the Patterson Park neighborhood of Baltimore... He previously played for the Virginia Beach Mariners and the Montreal Impact (USL)... He also works at 1st Mariner Bank as a Business and Executive Banker.
