Blast Announce Management Changes
BALTIMORE, Maryland (December 16, 2019) – The Baltimore Blast, members of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), have announced exciting changes in their front office structure. Effective immediately Gianni Tumminello is the new Vice President of Soccer Operations and General Manager.
Tumminello is a native of Baltimore County and a graduate of Archbishop Curley. Gianni has served as Game Day Director for the Blast for the past 5 seasons. Blast owner, Ed Hale said, “We have worked with Gianni in arena operations for many years. With his access to the soccer community, I am pleased to have him join the Baltimore Blast as Vice President and General Manager.”
Tumminello already has big plans for the team. He intends to create a more family friendly game experience, including fan participation, interactive technology and theme nights. Tumminello said, “I have been a soccer fan my entire life, growing up in the Overlea program and attended many Blast games throughout the years. I am excited to continue doing game day operations and adding the opportunity to do more with the team and help the organization grow.”
The Blast return home Saturday January 4th when they host the Florida Tropics. Kickoff is 6:05pm EST at SECU Arena in Towson, Maryland. Single game tickets for the 2019-20 season can be purchased at the Blast box office or by calling 410-558-4291.
